ABOUT THE PRODUCTS

Do I have to be into the metaphysical, new age or woo-woo arts to use the products?  

No! SPIRIT ELEMENT products are still amazing beauty wise, even if you don't believe in or feel comfortable with using them for metaphysical and magical use. 

How do I use your products for ritual and magical purposes? Oils can be used as ritual oils by pouring them into candles and oil burners, consecrating tools or worn as intention oils. All other products hold a specific intention and every time that you use them, you are adding an extra layer of potency to the magic that you work. 

Are your products 100% organic? Most of Spirit Element ingredients are organic. In fact, our founder personally grows about 25% of the ingredients used to make these products in her own backyard. The rest are sourced from organic farmers when possible, and It is our goal to become certified organic soon. 

Are the products made by hand? Yes! Each product is made by hand in small batches in our studio apothecary in Los Angeles, CA!

Are your products cruelty free? Yes! There never has been or never will be testing done on animals. We personally test each and every product that is made here ourselves and on loving family and friends. If we won't use it, we won't sell it. 

Are your products preservative free? Many are but some products such as the creams are not. If a preservative is needed, know that we have taken great care to source the most natural preservatives available, including one that is actually safe to ingest. 

Are your products fragrance free? Many of them are but some of them are not. Scent is a critical part in the sensual experience offered at Spirit Element. We prefer to use essential oils but there are times when a product needs a certain experience, that can only be achieved with fragrance oils. Please know that we have taken great care to source fragrances that are made with natural, plant materials whenever possible.

Why are some of my products cloudy looking? We use raw ingredients and make all of our infusions, floral waters/hydrosols, and extracts by hand without the use of chemicals to stabilize the look of the product. Therefore the color, clarity, and even sometimes the scent will vary from batch to batch. In addition, ingredients such as aloe vera, baking soda, salt, etc. tend to change in their appearance over time. These cosmetic changes do not affect the potency of your product. 

For body oils, you will find that the mica will sink to the bottom of the bottle. This is because we do not use chemicals to suspend the color. Simply give your bottle a good shake and watch the magic happen.

How long will it take to ship my order? Most products are shipped within 3-4 business although each product is made by hand by one of our staff members, therefore it can take longer. Our team collectively makes the products, pours them, packages them, answers every customer email, and is involved with every step of the process to infuse a little love and light into your experience. Your patience with the crafting process is greatly appreciated. 

How long will it take to receive my products? Domestic orders are typically received anywhere from 1-3 business days after shipping. International orders typically take about 1-2 weeks but can take as long as 6-8 weeks or longer depending on location and customs. Please note, customs is different for each country. Spirit Element has no control over this process and cannot guarantee delivery within a specific time period. We are not responsible for additional international custom’s fees or customs delays.

I live in Los Angeles. Can I pick up the order? We do not allow in person pick up at this time.

I sent a change of address inquiry but it does not show the new address on my shipping notification. Our order processing system does not allow us to change the address once an order has been placed however, we manually change the address within our shipping software.

My shipment is delayed. How can I get this fixed? The easiest way to fix a mis-delivery is to contact the Post Office. We can do this on your behalf but it is generally much easier and faster for you to contact them yourself. If you do send us an inquiry, please only send one and keep in mind, it will take a day or two for us to get back to you. If we need additional information from you, it may take a day or two more for us to get back to you again. Typically, you can fix the problem in a few minutes by calling USPS directly.

How long will it take to receive a reading? Please allow up to 4-5 business days for readings.

What if I need to change my question? You may change your question within 24 hours of placing your order. Question changes will not be accepted after that time frame.
